Tasks

Use case creation in the field of data integration and data migration (ETL/ELT)

Operative support of the underlying infrastructure (on-premises/Azure Cloud)

Support in building and further developing a service platform

Supporting and consulting of business departments and developers

Use of agile methods in a powerful team

Your Education

IT specialist („Fachinformatiker“, “Staatl. Geprüfter Informatiker”), bachelor/master’s degree preferably in computer science or equivalent qualification

2 years of demonstrable project experience

Personality: Good communication and presentation skills as well as team spirit, flexibility and an independent way of working

Technology Skills / Capabilities

Must have

Java (programming, frameworks, web technologies)

Linux (concepts, bash (administration of servers will be part of candidate’s daily tasks))

Deep understanding of relational databases and data warehouses (OLTP/OLAP); candidate needs to be skilled beyond simple DDL

Knowledge in ETL/ELT and data integration processes and concepts

Knowledge in cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) (administration, security, data integration)

Nice to have

MSSQL/Native SQL

Basic knowledge in the field of Data Analytics: data engineering concepts (R, Machine Learning) and visualization (Tableau/Power BI)

Python

ETL Tool Talend (preferably) or similar tools

MS Azure Cloud, DevOps, Microservices

Deeper understanding of data warehouses, preferably candidate should have worked / have experience with Snowflake Solutions

Kubernetes

Docker containers / Karaf containers, orchestration

APIs

CI/CD

Streaming (Kafka/Apache Spark)
